In the snow

We woke up in the Walmart carpark covered in 15cm of snow. We knew this day was coming for about 10 days, there was no way to avoid it. We waited the morning until the roads were cleared to drive a short distance East, to Durango. There we stopped in a coffee shop so I could update this blog! Durango’s main street is cute, even more with the snow falling.

We stopped half an hour south of Durango at the Sky Ute casino to get a free night sleep. Casinos seem to always welcome RVs so stay in their parking lot, it’s great for us. There’s bathrooms, bars, restaurants… This one even had a bowling alley, $4 a game! It was nice being inside in the warmth and able to have a bit of fun.
