Bird watching

Time to continue the trip south. It doesn’t seem like there’s a lot south of Albuquerque in the state of New Mexico. The highlight of the day was the Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge. The name “Forest of the Apache” comes from when they used to be present in the area. The area is 232 km2 and is home to 377 species of birds . The landscape was beautiful and peaceful.
Further south is the town named Truth or Consequences, but other than the name there wasn’t anything interesting about it.
