In Knoxville

After a much needed big sleep we head to Knoxville, the getaway to the Smoky Mountains. We drive off the interstate on a Tennessee scenic drive going through the country. We stop for lunch at Ozone falls, a beautiful 100 ft waterfall. On the side of the road a dog is hanging out by himself. We give him water and contact the owner’s to come get him. A local said the old dog had been there since the morning!
In Knoxville we get the nice surprise of a really charming downtown. We didn’t know what to expect as the city is not a tourist spot. The market square is a great place for dinner, or just some beers!
