In Eastern Nebraska

We drive up to Omaha in Nebraska. Being in Nebraska feels like being in the center of the country but far from everything. The city hasn’t much to offer except the old market area. After a stroll we drive to Lincoln, the state Capital. Like Omaha, Lincoln has an old market district, a good place for a coffee or a beer. The city has a small museum about the state. Nebraska was crossed by immigrants during the Gold Rush, but as the country population grew, farming too. Pioneers settled in the great plains to feed America.
