Driving to Yuma

It was a long drive from the Coast of California to Arizona. We stopped in Yuma, the city was created on the narrowest part of the mighty Colorado river, making it the getaway to California for the early settlers. It is the sunniest place in the world, the driest in the USA, with the highest number of days per year with a maximum temperature of 32 °C or higher. This is were they grow the winter vegetables for the whole country.
