On the south rim of the Grand Canyon
Kick starting the day with some snow! Excited like a kid I walked in the white carpet to hear the cracking sound under my feet. Ben removed snow from a windscreen for the first time in his life. We drove to the edge of the rim to get our first glance at this enormous “cut” in the earth. It was really cold and windy but we walked along the edge, feeling lucky to be there in winter, no selfie sticks pushing around! We spent the day driving and walking on top of the rim, the temperature didn’t exceed 1°C and felt like -10°C with the wind, but it was a great day.
