Driving to Taos

The night was cold, -13°, but it’s sunny again! After Ben won $20 at the casino we took the road south to start our trip in the state of New Mexico. First stop: Taos. The road on the way there was beautiful with mountains, snow, pine trees, horses… And even a “TX & NRA SUCK” sticker. A part of it was closed and made us do a big detour south and back north. The view changed to the typical dry pink and beige landscape of New Mexico. What was meant do be a half day drive turned out to be a day drive. Taos in the evening was nice and really quiet.
