Repairing Sully
The plan today is to go to Greenville. But last night, workers were redoing the Walmart parking lot lines until 3am. Outside the fact that it was noisy, when wanting to change park a second time, Sullivan refused. No electrical response.
In the morning Ben cleaned the connections, checked the fuses, and eventually changed the battery. But then, as we drive out the speedometer and odometer snapped dead. We knew that was going to happen, its been playing up for a long time. Yesterday when I was driving the speedometer was dancing and even doing full loops backwards!
We stop at Newberry to take a look at he historic downtown and try to find new parts for Sully. But finding a speedometer cable is not that easy. We continue on our way to Greenville where one shop has it. It’s already 5 in the afternoon and we find a campsite in the Paris Mountain State Park. As Ben works on Sully, I clean it, typical campground activities for us.
