In Greenville
Time for the verdict. We pack and drive out the campground and the speedometer and odometer are working again, yay!
We take a walk in the Paris Mountain State Park. It was advertised as offering great views of the surrounding mountains, but there was none, we were in the forest. We can see a little bit of the fog flirting with the treeline, better than nothing.
It’s meant to be rainy today, it surely is colder than before. We had finally gotten used to the heat and humidity back on the coast, so it’s freezing for us here.
In Greenville we are lucky to arrive for the Artisphere, an Art festival with exhibitors from all over the country selling their art. Sculptures, jewellery, paintings, photography… Even pictures of Annecy are for sale! We also get to listen to very good live music, including “The Deer” from Austin. And the rain started only at 8pm!
