In the land of waterfalls

It’s a rainy day but forests are beautiful in the rain, plus, we’re back in the land of waterfalls, south of the Smoky Mountains. We drive to Dupont State Park (you can’t do more frenchy than this name!) via a windy road. We go through the rain and the fog, marvelled at the view and eating boiled peanuts bought on the side of the road. The park is a popular hiking spot for the locals with massive waterfalls. The Hunger Games and The Last of the Mohicans were filmed at Triple Falls. After our afternoon walk we head to the town of Brevard for a walk and stop at the old 1920s movie theater to see Guardians of the Galaxy 2.
