In Montreal

Montreal is more of a meeting place than a travel destination for us as we both have friends living there. In two days we visit the Ville-Marie area (it’s the old town and the old port), walk up the Mont Royal, stroll downtown, see the art at the Museum of Fine Arts, listen to live music at the Jazz Festival, eat tacos in Chinatown and get rained on a few times. We see our friends, Camille and his friends, and JM and Joanie. I was really happy to see JM again after 5 years. Montreal doesn’t have a lot of charm, but seems like a great place for young people, a lot of gigs happen all year-round.
