In Denver
Apparently Denver is growing and attracting people from the neighbour states like Nebraska or Wyoming. I was expecting it to be a wealthy, clean, and like a big ski city. I can’t really judge because we spent just a few hours there on a Saturday evening, but it seemed like everyone was weird and high on drugs. It was labor day celebrations so I guess that explains? When we walked the long street mall after dinner I wasn’t feeling safe at all. The city looks quite new, it lacks charm and the skyline isn’t attractive. There is on the other side of the river, in Highlands, a really nice little area with trendy restaurants and a popular ice cream place. It seemed like the place to be.
